Summary :

Despite the Grenadiers' dominance, especially in the second half, our players were unable to capitalize on their opportunities, despite 7 shots on target being blocked by the Goalkeeper Édric Menjívar, the star of the match. The two teams leveled off, and the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

Frantzdy Pierrot had Haiti's first chance in the 9th minute with a header from the center of the box that went over the goal. Jorge Benguché created two consecutive chances for Honduras. First in the 18th minute, with a shot that hit the bottom left post, which was saved by Haitian goalkeeper Alexandre Pierre, and then in the 20th minute, with a shot that went wide of the right post.

Pierrot almost opened the scoring for Haiti in the 32nd minute, but his effort that hit the bottom right post was saved by Honduran goalkeeper Edrick Menjívar.

After the break, the "Catrachos" almost opened the scoring in the 55th minute thanks to a powerful volley from Romell Quioto inside the box that hit the crossbar.

Both goalkeepers excelled and kept a clean sheet. Pierre made three saves for Haiti. Menjívar, from Honduras, made seven stops.
