Haiti - FLASH : Earthquake 30 km West of Môle Saint-Nicolas

This Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 6:06 and 50 seconds in the morning, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded 30 km west of Môle Saint-Nicolas (Dept. North-West)

The epicenter was located at 19.761° North latitude and 73.079° West longitude at a depth of 10 kilometers, 153 km northwest of Port-au-Prince (West Dept.), 91 km west of Cap- Haitien (North Dept.).

So far the Technical Unit of Seismology (UTS) of the Bureau of Mines and Energy (BME) has not issued its report and the regional office of the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) has not reported no damage or loss of life.
