Thursday January 28, Patrick Almonor, the Deputy Mayor of Cap-Haitien and Numa Jean Mara, Director of the North Regional Office of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) carried out an evaluation visit of the rehabilitation works of the Sainte-Philomène.

Remember that this Power Plant will receive, in the coming days, 6 powerful Generators of 2 MW each, ie a total additional power of 12 MW. The Groups are already located in Port-au-Prince and the Government is waiting for the end of the development work before sending them to Cap-Haitien to be installed there.

The Regional Director of EDH Numa Jean Mara specified that once installed these 12 MW additional which will be added to the 12 MW already existing, "the city of Cap-Haitien can be supplied with electricity 24 hours a day without any problem.".
