"Make water accessible throughout the country using solar energy, that's what I promised and that's what I continue to do," declared Jovenel Moïse adding "Today is the Latramblay 12 growers' turn to receive their solar-powered pumping system [...] Thanks to the installation of these systems, the agriculture will resume its place as the engine of the commune's economy."

In his intervention, Minister Septembre explained that the installation of this equipment should contribute to improving the living conditions of communities, specifying that it is the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Directorate of Drinking Water and of Sanitation (DINEPA), which will ensure the management and distribution of water in collaboration with the local population. He also called on the population to safeguard these systems which can last up to 25 years.
