Haiti - Canada : Launch of BrandAid Haiti Project

In partnership with the Government of Canada and Hudson Bay (the Bay), BrandAid Haiti Project, a new collection of exclusive craft object was launched last Thursday. This collaboration showcases beautiful designs created by Haitian master artisans.

Was present among others at the launch: the Ambassador of Haiti in Canada, Frantz Liautaud, the Consul General of Haiti in Montreal, Justin Viard, the famous Haitian writer Dany Laferrière and the Canadian Minister of International Development and Francophonie, the Honourable Christian Paradis.

By creating collections of exceptional products and providing marketing support to increase the value and reputation of these artisans, Brandaid aims to create sustainable economic opportunities for small producers, while ensuring the protection of intellectual property and a new recognition level.
