As announced last week, by Mgr. Pierre André Dumas, mediator of "Religion for Peace", a meeting took place last Saturday between the Executive, represented by President Michel Martelly, accompanied by his advisors Joseph Lambert, Youti Latortue and Gregory Mayard Paul, the Legislative, represented by the Senators Jocelerme Privert and François Lucas Sainvil and the 9 members of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), representing the Judiciary.

"[...] we found that there was a lot of goodwill, to continue to advance, and the three powers agreed, to continue in this line and most importantly, they [the Executive and Legislative] encouraged the CSPJ, for it sits with the three members chosen previously chosen [Patrick Métellus, Yves Benoit Jean-Marie and Salnave Exantus] which were installed at the Permanent Electoral Council, so, that we are able to find solutions that can facilitate things in the dignity and respect of each person. We think that with the progress that we have observed, we can find a permanent solution, so that we are able to resolve the crisis that was created [...]"
