Haiti - Social : Warning of Ministry of Religious Affairs

In a warning notice Garry Guyto, the Director General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, warns the users of services of the Ministry against some malicious persons who seek to obtain money for services provided free of charge by the Ministry...

"The Ministry of Religious Affairs bring to the attention of the general public and the religious sector in particular that the services it provides to taxpayers are free and are not accompanied of a fee of any nature whatsoever, except the final receipt of 3 gourdes 50 centimes to the Directorate General of Taxes.

Consequently, the Ministry has a duty to warn those concerned against the actions of all those who in one way or another would dare to mislead their good faith by ask them for money, favors, gratuities or other, either to accelerate or to lead an initiative an approach undertook with the ministry as part of the powers conferred by the law.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs says rely on the understanding and cooperation of all, while seizing the opportunity to decline any liability resulting from action contrary to the provisions of this notice.

The offenders surprised will be punished according to the prescribed law."
