Haiti - Justice : Complaints against Jean-Bertrand Aristide
On Wednesday, a group of people claiming to be former child of "La Fanmi se La vi", grouped in the "Association of Victims of exploitation of the Fanmi se La vi" have filed a complaint to the Prosecutor of Port-au-Prince, against former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide for physical violence and economic exploitation of their cause for personal purposes.
In their complaint, they demand justice and reparations for all victims of exploitation of the organization "a Fanmi se La vi". According to these people, they have been exploited for the benefit of Jean-Bertrand Aristide and would not have benefited from any aid received by the Foundation.
Me. Lucmane Délile, the Government Commissioner confirmed the filing of the complaint but declined to comment.
