The Minister of Tourism, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, participates this Monday at the Ritz Kinam 2, to a panel discussion on the theme "Haiti on the tourist map of the World". This conference, under the auspices of the Tourism Association of Haiti (ATH), is part of the visit, in Haiti, of Mr. Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

This weekend, the Secretary General of the UNWTO, visited the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien (MUPANAH), accompanied by Mrs. Michèle Frisch, Director of the Museum, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, Carlos Vogeler, Regional Director of the UNWTO for the Americas and Johanne Thébaud, Chief of Protocol of the WTO.

"When it comes to tourism, the potential of this country is incredibly clear... ! declared Mr. Taleb Rifai.

Sunday Mr. Taleb Rifai, accompanied by the Minister of Tourism and Mrs. Dieudonne L. Etienne, Regional Director North of Tourism, visited the Palace Sans Souci (in Milot) "This area is a true gem that the whole world should visit," declared the Secretary General of the UNWTO, which considered that it was time to visit Haiti "Because there is a political will, who wants to see things." Mr. Taleb Rifai estimated that the coming years could be fruitful for the people of Haiti, given the many projects of the Ministry of Tourism.
