Haiti - Social : Launch of «Ti Manman Cheri» in Carrefour-Feuilles and Cité La Paix
The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, accompanied by Mrs. Rosanne Auguste, Minister Delegate for Human Right and the fight against extreme poverty, went this Friday 14 September, in Carrefour-Feuilles and Cité La Paix (Fort-Dimanche), to attend the enrollment in the program "Ti Manman Cheri", of several hundred of mothers in difficult situations.
This social assistance program, which was launched in Carrefour-Feuilles with the integration of a thousand beneficiaries, aims primarily to provide immediate support to the most vulnerable in the context of the struggle engaged by the Head of Government against extreme poverty and social exclusion.
In Cité La Paix (Fort-Dimanche), more than 500 mothers will receive through the program, a total of 500 gourdes per month for a period of six months, via the telephone service Tcho Tcho Mobile.
The Head of Government, who took the opportunity to reassure the population of its strong commitment to provide sustainable solutions to their problems, has distributed hundreds of food kits to beneficiaries who did not hide their satisfaction.
This weekend the program Ti Manman Cheri went on the Ile de La Gonâve.
