Haiti - Social : A truck lost its brakes in Fond-Parisien
The DPC informs us that a major accident took place on National Route #4 in Fond-Parisien in the department of the West.
A truck from Fonds-Verrettes, a town located about 25 kilometers from Fond-Parisien, carrying mostly of merchants (madan-sara) and carrots and they were going to sell, lost its brakes and collided with a vehicle to Fond-Parisien.
The balance is 12 fatalities and 24 injured, according to the latest information provided by the DPC. Gonzague Day Delegate of the West declared "This is a very serious accident. For now, we focus on the survival of the wounded," expressing his "deep emotion".
