Haiti - Politic : Night Tour of the Prime Minister
Late in the evening of Wednesday, July 18, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, accompanied by Simon Desras Dieuseul, the President of the Senate, René Jean Roosevelt, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action and Michel Brunache, the Secretary General of the Prime Minister, paid a surprise visit to the police station of Port-au-Prince to inquire personally of working conditions of police officers. Laurent Lamothe did not hide his satisfaction, by finding the dedication and commitment of young police officers working hard to ensure the safety of lives and goods of the population.
The Prime Minister also took the opportunity of his night tour, to visit some roads being repaired in the capital as part of the "Operasyon Bouche Twou", whose the streets Pavée and Montalais. Laurent Lamothe had a question and answer session with the responsible on the progress of the project. He remains convinced that this program which includes the manual cleaning of sewers and the construction of urban facilities, contributes to creating jobs in the short and medium term, so that people can participate actively in the development of the country.
The Chief of the Primature has invited each servant of the State, to fully assume their responsibilities in order to provide quality public services to the population, which expects an improvement of its living conditions and encouraged them to redouble of energy for management effective of the reconstruction of country.
