The Haitian men’s under-17 national football team officially departed for Brazil on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for an intensive training camp. Following this, they will travel to Qatar, the host Nation for the FIFA U-17 World Cup from November 19 to December 13, 2026. Haiti has been drawn into Group D, where they will face France, Saudi Arabia, and Uruguay.

The schedule includes friendly matches against local clubs, such as Fluminense, Flamengo, and Botafogo, as well as a match against Brazil’s U-17 national team.

The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) expresses its deep gratitude to FIFA for its invaluable support, as well as to the Embassy of Brazil in Haiti and Viva Rio, whose assistance was instrumental in securing the necessary visas. The Federation also extends its thanks to the partners and sponsors who helped make this trip possible. Thanks to this collective effort, our young Grenadiers are able to continue their preparations under optimal conditions and approach the world’s premier tournament for their age group with pride.
