U-15 Football : Three Days of Talent Identification

The General Secretariat, through the National Technical Directorate of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), in preparation for Haiti's participation in the 2026 FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival, to be held in Azerbaijan from October 22 to 31, 2026, will organize three days of talent identification in Port-au-Prince, from August 14 to 16, 2026, at the Saint-Louis de Gonzague Institution grounds, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., for boys born in 2011. Only Haitian clubs, academies, and football schools duly licensed with the FHF will be eligible to participate. Interested organizations must submit to the National Technical Directorate (DTN) the name(s) of the player(s) they wish to nominate, up to a maximum of four (4) players per organization, along with a copy of the first page of each player's passport. Haitians are not tourists in the Dominican Republic

Héctor Porcella, President of the Dominican Civil Aviation Authority (JAC), reported that the Dominican Republic maintains an open air travel market with Haiti and is evaluating the feasibility of strengthening connections between the two countries, following changes in international air operations. Porcella explained that the trade flows between the two countries have particular characteristics : "It’s a somewhat complex market, because Haiti is primarily a consumer market where people come to the Dominican Republic mainly for shopping and business, not for tourism..."
