ZED Airlines : resumption of flights to Montreal

Let's remember that Zed Airlines provides international connections to Brazil (from Toussaint Louverture airport), Miami and Atlanta (from Cap Haïtien). Zed Airlines plans to expand its network to other American cities and to Cuba. Concerning domestic flights, the company plans to establish connections from the capital to Jacmel, Jérémie and Les Cayes.

ICE is outlawed ?

Monday June 22, 2026, the lawyers of Haitian businessman Dimitri Vorbe filed an emergency motion, accusing the American Immigration Service (ICE) of having violated a judicial ban by transferring him from Miami to Mississippi. Detained since last September, the 52-year-old entrepreneur was evacuated from the Krome center to the Natchez prison following serious bush fires in Florida, even though a federal judge had formally prohibited his movement outside the district. Targeted by an expulsion procedure initiated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio for foreign policy reasons, Dimitri Vorbe is contesting his prolonged detention. His lawyers are demanding his immediate return for his July 10 hearing or his release.
