Strategic visit of the haitian PM to the base of the Gang Supression Force

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, as part of the government's overall mobilization to restore public order and state authority, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé made a strategic visit to the base of the Gang Supression Force (GSF) in Tabarre.

Accompanied by Vladimir Paraison, Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH), the Prime Minister met with a high-level delegation comprised of the GSF's Special Representative, Jack Christofides; Ms. Daniela Kroslak, Deputy Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Support Office in Haiti (BANUH); and Major General Erdenebat Batsuuri, Commander-in-Chief of the FRG.

Discussions focused on intensifying joint operations aimed at restoring lasting security, retaking territories occupied by armed groups, and consolidating gains made on the ground. The Prime Minister reiterated the Government's unwavering commitment to pursuing efforts to neutralize pockets of insecurity and guarantee the free movement of citizens throughout the national territory.

During this visit, Fils-Aimé inspected several operations rooms and infrastructure under construction, including dormitories intended to house new contingents called upon to bolster intervention capabilities in the field.

The Prime Minister also met with the base's medical staff to assess the healthcare arrangements in place for members of the forces engaged in security operations. He commended the professionalism and dedication of the teams mobilized in service of national security.

Fils-Aimé reaffirmed his personal commitment to guiding government action in close alignment with operational realities, supporting the security forces in their mission, and accelerating the restoration of State authority throughout the country.
