Haiti - Economy : Budgets Validation for the autonomous organizations of the MCI (2025-2026)

As part of the opening of the new 2025-2026 fiscal year, James Monazard, the Minister of Trade and Industry (MCI), through his autonomous agencies, organized an official meeting dedicated to the presentation and approval of the budgets of the autonomous agencies under the Ministry's supervision.

The purpose of this meeting was to present the 2025-2026 draft budget to the Minister, discuss strategic priorities and budget projections for the year's programs and activities, and officially approve the budgets to ensure the effective implementation of planned actions.

During the meeting, financial officials detailed revenue and expenditure forecasts, priority projects, as well as resource streamlining and optimization measures.

For his part, Minister Monazard reminded the various administrations of the importance of rigorous management in a context marked by economic and security challenges.

Following the discussions, the Council members approved the 2025-2026 budgets of the autonomous organizations under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture, including the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI), the Haitian Post Office (OPH), and the National Industrial Parks Corporation (SONAPI).

The presentation and approval of the 2025-2026 budget is an important step in the Ministry's governance, demonstrating the commitment to strengthening transparency, the efficiency of public management, and the consistency of strategic actions. This approval provides each institution with a clear roadmap and the financial resources to carry out their missions during the fiscal year.
