Haiti - Japan : Haiti at the Expo 2025 Osaka

Haiti is present at Expo 2025, which will be held in Osaka, Japan, from April 13 to October 13, 2025, on 155 hectares, alongside 160 countries that expect to welcome approximately 28 million visitors.

The Haiti pavilion, designed around the theme "Designing the Future Society for Our Lives" aims to present a renewed face of Haiti, deeply rooted in its culture but resolutely focused on innovation and connected to the world.

The Haitian pavilion is intended to showcase the country's diversity and creativity, highlighting art (painting, sculpture, crafts), music and dance (rara, compas, voodoo, etc...), gastronomy (local products, traditional cuisine), as well as local innovations (startups, urban agriculture, ecological solutions, etc...) This global event will allow Haiti to promote its assets, attract economic partners, and intensify its cultural and economic diplomacy.

Beyond the cultural showcase, Osaka 2025 represents a unique opportunity for Haiti to attract investors in its strategic sectors such as sustainable agriculture, ecotourism and heritage, cultural and artisanal industries, and renewable energy (solar, biomass, etc...) Interactive presentations, project demonstrations, and B2B meetings are planned to encourage foreign investment and joint ventures, and support long-term economic growth.

Haiti's participation in the Expo is also part of a cultural diplomacy strategy aimed at establishing dialogue with other nations, gaining visibility on the global stage, promoting the French and Creole languages, and mobilizing the Haitian diaspora. This approach will help forge alliances, share expertise, and strengthen the country's international image.

To make an impact, the Haitian pavilion will focus on visual communication, including 3D presentation films on "Haiti 2054", interactive devices (VR, tablets, QR codes), and a design combining traditional architecture and eco-design.
