No military intervention in Haiti

On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, during his confirmation hearing in the US Senate, Republican Senator Marco Rubio (FL), nominated by Donald Trump to become the next Secretary of State, when asked about the situation in Haiti, stated that there will be no US military intervention in Haiti but that the Trump administration will support the Multinational Security Support Mission led by Kenya.

Caribbean Port Services to resume operations
