Garry Conille, in his capacity as Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT), visited the premises of the Ministry looted and vandalized by bandits in downtown Port-au-Prince.

On the sidelines of his visit, Garry Conille took the opportunity to invite the population to identify the real enemies of the Haitian Nation.

"The real enemies of the people are the groups of criminals who terrorize members of the population and prevent citizens from freely going about their business [...] criminals are now among the worst enemies of the Nation," Conille explained further.

"The real enemies are the politicians who hold members of the population hostage. The real enemies of the people are the corrupters and the corrupted who squander public funds. The real enemies are those who supply the youth of the populous neighborhoods with weapons and ammunition..." asking citizens not to make a mistake about their targets or enemies.

"The Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities will be repaired and put back at the service of the population and communities," assured Conille.
