According to Lieutenant General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa, the Dominican Minister of Defense, next week, another 400 Kenyan soldiers will arrive in Haiti.

"Made In Haiti" trade show

The 1st edition of the "Made in Haiti" trade show (MIH Expo), organized by EGM Strategy & Management in partnership with the Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH), will be held Saturday July 13, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. p.m. at the new El Rancho Pétion-ville Convention Center. This show, which aims to highlight Haitian know-how, will welcome more than 60 exhibiting companies from all sectors of economic activity, from the largest taxpayers to SMEs. Opportunities to make contacts, make purchases or follow thematic workshops. A gastronomy corner will be open all day.

International financial meeting

Thursday July 11, 2024, Prime Minister Conille, accompanied by ministers of his Government, met representatives of the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Special Representative of the Secretary General of ONU. A successful meeting to share transition priorities and strengthen international support.

Hurricane season : Forecasts revised upwards
