Kenya becomes an Observer member at the OAS

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, during a special session of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS), the request of the Republic of Kenya to become a permanent observer member of the OAS was accepted. Food basket increased by 27% in 5 months

According to Jean-Martin Bauer, Director of the World Food Program. (WFP - Haiti), the cost of the food basket in Haiti increased by 27% between January and May 2024. Furthermore, he announced that important measures have been taken to restore humanitarian supply chains, despite the exceptionally complex security situation.
