Haiti - FLASH : Online service available for CIN and passport application (Video PM)

Friday March 31, 2023 at the Hotel Montana, Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry in the presence of Ministers Nesmy Manigat (Education), Jean Victor Généus (Foreign Affairs) and Ronald Guerrier, Director General of the National Identification Office (ONI) among other things, launched the "Delidoc" platform for online applications for identity documents : National Identification Card and Passport for the momment, aimed at improving services to the population.

This new service aims to manage the flow of applicants by offering them the possibility of submitting their request online and making an appointment by choosing a time slot of availability displayed by the office where they will have to physically present themselves. According to Michel Colbert of the e-governance unit of the Primature, applicants will be expected and will be guaranteed to be served without having to face crowd movements...

In his speech, the Head of Government recalled that in the face of very strong demand, the government had given immigration the means to open more offices, but that this was not enough. "This is why we are accelerating the development of e-governance and mobilizing national experts, to create an application that will facilitate all citizens to make an appointment online as is done in other countries."

Let's recall that in July 2022 Liszt Quitel, the Minister of the Interior in office at the time had already made the announcement, remained at the level of the declaration and without concrete effect for the population https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-37082-haiti-flash-online-passport-application-very-soon.html
