Former Colonel Himmler Rebu denounces the incompetence and unconsciousness of the rulers in the face of crucial problems including insecurity. He says that the current security crisis does not fall under the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

The PNH unions file a complaint against the CSPN

The Syndicate of the National Police of Haiti (SPNH 17) filed a complaint on January 27, 2023, at the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince against the members of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN) for non-assistance to police officers killed in operations against armed gangs in Pétion-Ville and Liancourt.

El Salvador ready to help in the fight against gangs

Félix Ulloa, the Vice-President of El Salvador reiterates his country's desire to send a mission to Haiti to help the authorities define an appropriate plan to fight against gangs including an international force. The CARDH for the intervention of a foreign force

In its latest report from the Center for Analysis and Research in Human Rights (CARDH), while calling for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) to be provided with new means to deal with armed gangs, that only a specialized foreign force can help the police restore order.
