Tank trucks blocked at Varreux

On Thursday, November 11, the Haitian National Police escorted government tankers to the Varreux terminal. However, the drivers at the site waited hours without being able to fill their tanks or leave the area due to heavy fire from the bandits controlling the area. The day before, 2 government tankers were able to leave the Varreux terminal with 8,000 gallons of fuel.

3 women kidnapped brutalized and raped

3 women kidnapped on Saturday, November 6 in the district of Guy Malary, in Hinche, were brutalized and raped by their captors, according to the testimony of one of the victims who was released the day after the events. The kidnappers are asking for $25,000 to release the other two hostages.
