iciHaiti - NOTICE : Training of midwives and technologists in the private sector not recognized by the State

Marie Gréta Roy Clément, the Minister of Public Health informs the population in general, health institutions, socio-professional associations and users in particular, that the training of midwives and medical technologists in Haiti is relevant, until date, of the prerogative of the State.

No recognition has been given to private institutions for training professionals in these fields.

The Ministry of Public Health and Population urges students and parents to be cautious in choosing health science training courses, especially those which are still offered today only by training structures controlled by the State.

A list of recognized institutions capable of providing teaching in Health Sciences by category is available on the official website of the Ministry.
