Truck arson, 3 individuals caught in the act

This Monday, April 12, the police arrested 3 individuals caught in the act by setting fire to a large truck (trailer), in the era of the Champs -Of March. These defendants respond to the name of Jean Luc ORVILLE, Angelo BERTIN alias Jacky Chan and Evenson BERNARD alias Bebeto.

CSPJ : Judge Durin Duret Junior has been re-elected

Judge Durin Duret Junior was re-elected on Tuesday as representative of the Courts of Appeal to the Superior Council of the Judiciary. He fefeated his opponent, Me Jean Perez Paul by 42 votes to 4 in the elections for the CSPJ. The elections of the new representatives of the courts of first instance and of peace will be held respectively on April 20 and 27. Judges Wando Saint-Villier, Bernard Saint-Vil and Loubens Elizée are the 3 candidates for the TPI while Justice of the Peace Nadert Désir is the sole candidate for his succession.

Claude Joseph met his Taiwanese counterpart

Claude Joseph, on the evening of Monday, April 12, 2021, I had very cordial and very fruitful exchanges with his Taiwanese counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Joseph WU, around the strengthening of relations between the Republic of Haiti and the Republic of China (Taiwan). They agreed to separately celebrate, Coronavirus obliges, the sixty-fifth anniversary of relations between the two countries, on April 25, and to boost bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two peoples.
