The Senator Youri Latortue who chairs the Senate Committee of Inquiry on corruption and fraud within the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) revealed that Mr. Dorsinvil, President of the CEP "would" have left the country although a measure prohibiting departure had been launched against him. Always according to the senator he "would" have received the aid of a great personality, without mentioning the name of it [?] Note that this information should be taken with reserve

On 30 April Mr. Latortue said "... we expect and hope that Mr Gaillot Dorsinvil and Mr Belzin will have the time to come, so that the Commission hear them, prior that our delay expires" and answering to a question from a journalist about what will happen if Gaillot Dorsinvil, the President of CEP refuses to appear before the commission, Youri Latortue had answered "anyway, we got a lot of statements about of President of CEP and other advisers, if he does not appear, the Commission will nevertheless conclude based on what it has received [...] His presence was important for us but also for him [...] we have received many statements who do not go all the time in the direction of Mr. Dorsinvil... I think he should come to make the balance. We can only invite people, we can not force them."

On 25 April, Mr. Dorsinvil Gaillot had not responded to "the invitation" of the Commissioner of the Government of Port-au-Prince, Me Haricidas Auguste, around the allegations of fraud and corruption that the electoral institution is subject. Me Haricidas Auguste had qualified the absences [including that of M. Dorsinvil ] of "disobedience to authority" declaring his intention to interrogate more especially Mr. Gaillot Dorsinvil the President of the CEP on the creation of a special electoral court, after the publication of the final results of the second round of elections. "...we want that he tells us where he has find these legal provisions to create a special BCEN while the constitution says there has no court that can be created in the country, without reference law".

For his part Gaillot Dorsinvil, d, in the correspondence to the CEP, would motivate his absence for health reasons. As we have seen the latest statements issued by the CEP, are no longer signed by Mr. Dorsinvil nut by Me Jean Thélève PIERRE-TOUSSAINT, Vice-President.

Six days ago, the fact that Mr. Dorsinvil does not appear before the Commission did not seem to disturb Mr. Latortue, but now that he "seems" not to be in the the country, it is another thing. Where is Gaillot Dorsinvil ? That is the question.
