Haiti - FLASH : Disinformation, clarification of the PNH

A text circulates on social networks suggesting that the Central Direction of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) went to the Bernard Mevs hospital (Airport road) to investigate the police officers injured during the incident of Sunday February 23 in the Champ-de-Mars area https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30109-haiti-flash-clashes-in-champ-de-mars-at-least-a-dozen-victims-provisional-assessment.html

The Press Coordination and Public Relations of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) specifies "[...] It is clear that there has been a lot of infiltration in the police movement to demand better working conditions. We have evidence that there were individuals who pretended to be police officers and who took advantage of this to cause trouble in the Champ-de-Mars area.

The DCPJ only went [to the Bernard Mevs hospital] to identify who is a police officer and who is not among the victims because the General Directorate of Police will take care of the victimized police officers who part of the institution [...]" adding that Rameau Normil, Director General ai of the PNH passed formal orders to various officials of the institution to follow up on those killed or injured in the ranks of the protesting police offciers.
