Haiti - Petit-Goâve : A teacher of the Lycée Faustin Soulouque wanted by killers ?

On Monday evening Professor Wilson Lemeine, one of the leaders of the strike movement, started by some teachers at Faustin Soulouque High School on January 14, denounced armed individuals who landed in his neighborhood with the mission to kill him...

"These men told people to go home while saying, where is Wilson ? Then they set fire to a bus parked on the yard of my house, intimidated my relatives, but thanks to the intervention of residents the fire was extinguished," said Wilson Lemeine adding "Before coming to my home, these individuals went to High School where they wrote : 'À bas Wilson'. Despite this act of intimidation, I will continue to fight alongside the teachers until the State pays the salary arrears and proceeds to their appointment. I will not back down !" Clarifying that he was not responsible for the crisis that has raged in high school for 59 days contrary to the information spread by the director of the High School. Moreover, he implicitly accused the allies of the local authorities...
