On the occasion of the World Health Day on April 7, the Health Program of Viva Rio has partnered with 18 schools in the area of Grand Bel Air to organize a major awareness day around two themes : Antimicrobial resistance: no action today no cure tomorrow theme of the day given by the World Health Organization (WHO). And as second theme "Lavi ka pi bèl san vyolans sou fanm ak tifi" (Life is more beautiful without violence against women and girls).
Conference debate, essay competitions, will punctuate the day to be held Friday, April 8, 2011 at the community center of Viva Rio, Kay Nou, situated at 67 Boulevard JJ Dessalines from 12h30pm.
The objective of this activity is to educate people in the community of Grand Bel Air, especially young people of both sexes, on the need to protect themselves from risks due to lack of information on the health plan. And also to motivate girls to take charge of their health.
