Haiti - Sports : Minister Charles on tour at Arcahaie and Montrouis

Saturday Edwing Charles, the Minister of Youth and Sports went to Arcahaie and Montrouis to inquire about the state of sports infrastructure.

At the Town Hall of Arcahaie, Minister Charles and Mayor Rosemila Saint-Vil Petit-Frère discussed the need to create synergy with state entities to better address the problems facing young people, athletes and especially the citizens in the commune. They recognized the importance of sport in the fight against delinquency and its importance in social cohesion.

A visit to the Carrefour Poy field, his meeting with a manager of Arcahaie FC allowed the Minister Charles to understand the importance of this team and also football for residents. Charles announced to the Club Archelois that it had all the support of President Moïse for the construction of the football field before transforming the space into a real Sports Center.

In Montrouis, the Minister discussed with officials : the construction of the Dumarsais Estimé Park, preparations for the launching of the inter-school championship and the deployment of qualified sports instructors for the benefit of the population, while emphasizing the need to facilitate and rationalize the practice of sport on the national territory.
