Prime Minister Jean-Henry Céant, during the presentation of his General Policy, declared : "We solemnly undertake, before the Nation [...] to undertake everything within the framework of our prerogatives, to mobilize the necessary local resources and to solicit international support, where such a partnership would prove indispensable for the Parliament to be fully operational in January 2020. Let us recall finally that Léopold Berlanger, the President of the Provisional Electoral Council had announced at the end of August 2018, that according to the chosen option the next elections could cost between 50 and 75 million dollars.
