Haiti - FLASH : Double accident, more than 30 victims in Grand-Goâve

Friday, on the National Road #2, around 9:00 am in Fauché (Grand-Goâve) a mini-bus "Pap padap" from Port-au-Prince struck a Toyota Coaster bus, ensuring the route Petit-Goâve/Port-au-Prince.

Thirty passengers on the Toyota Bus were injured during the violent shock, several suffered limb fractures and others were more seriously injured. No deaths were happily reported. Police officers rushed the victims to the Georges Gauvin hospital in Grand-Goâve where they received first aid, by Cuban and Haitian doctors, before being transferred to Notre Dame Hospital in Petit-Goâve and in Port-au-Prince, reported our colleague the journalist Dieudonné Délice.

The second accident happened a little later in the day in Papette (Grand-Goâve). This time it was a bus that struck a motorcycle on which were two young boys one of which was identified as Francker Venel, the other could not be identified for lack of identity document. Both occupants of the motorcycle have died on the spot.
