Haiti - NOTICE : Mandarin course, registration open

After a first initiative at Quisqueya University (UniQ) with the Confucius Institute Headquarters Hanban, a public institution affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education, to set up a Mandarin course at UniQ (course started in September of this year) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-18341-haiti-education-chinese-mandarin-courses-in-haiti.html , the Haitian Council for the Development of Relations with China (CHDC) announces that as of January 2017, Mandarin, the official language of the People's Republic of China and Singapore, will be offered to students and professionals in Haiti, to the office of the CHDC.

The classes will cover grammar, vocabulary, conversation, pronunciation, listening and comprehension and will be taught twice a week by a Chinese teacher for a total of 5 hours per week. The pedagogical material used, fairly simple and of recent conception, takes into account the daily reality of the Chinese.

Courses will be offered on Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 am to 6:00 pm and registration is open.

"Seize this opportunity to learn the language that has the largest number of speakers in the world and which is rapidly gaining importance in international exchanges," stresses the CHDC.
