Haiti - NOTICE : Recruitment Members of Polling Stations

In order to select the members of Polling Stations (MBV), the Executive Branch of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) invites, universities, schools, religious cults, professional and socio-cultural associations recognized and women's organizations, to establish lists that they will submit to the CEP via the BEC no later than August 5, 2016.

Notez que toutes ces organisations ne doivent pas être engagées dans les compétitions électorales en cours.

Information required for each MBV proposed :

Last name and first name ;

Date and place of birth ;

Address ;

Phone numbers ;

Copy of the National Identification Card (CIN);

Level of study (BAC I at least, documentary evidence to be provided);

Department, commune, city or desired communal section for assignment.

The persons proposed must enjoy a good reputation in their community. The candidacy of school teachers will be favored by the CEP.

In addition, the Executive Directorate of the CEP informs that in accordance with Article 139.2 of the Electoral Decree, the final list of MBV will be established in public session from a random drawing conducted by the BEC in the presence of party representatives, political groups, independent candidates and accredited electoral monitoring organizations. The calendar of the draw will be announced later.

There is an obligation to those who will be selected to make available to the CEP to fulfill their civic duties. Failure to comply, they will undergo the same penalties provided against absentee jurors.

All Polling Stations Members are obliged to respect the electoral code of conduct.
