Haiti - Education : Integration of new teachers and administrative staff

The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training, informs that 217 new normaliens also just been appointed and they soon be integrated into the budget for the fiscal year 2015-2016.

In addition, the Ministry recalled that in accordance with its commitments, 873 new staff (teachers, guardians, cleaning staff, school principals and other administrative staff) were integrated into the state budget as of 30 September 2015. The agents of integration processes will continue based on availability within the new budget and the use of other funds that will be released on pensions, retirements and dismissals for unjustified prolonged absence.

Furthermore, the Ministry has indicated that over 30,000 Provisional Teaching Permit (PPE) have already been distributed throughout the country in accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree of 2 September 2014, stating that the delivery process was ongoing through the Departmental Directorates of Education (DDE).

Meanwhile, the heads of schools that took part in the census in September 2014 will begin to receive, from December 2015, school identification cards (CIE) states the Ministry.
