Only rubber bullets according to PNH

Garry Desrosiers, the HNP spokesman said that on November 18 the agents who provided security of demonstrations have only make use of rubber bullets to disperse the crowd who tried repeatedly to break the barrier erected by police to protect the premises of the CEP, "When the police ensures the managemen on a crowd, it has the ability to assess the situation and to take anticipatory measures before it degenerates," he clarified. Recall that during the demonstration the candidates for the Presidency Steven Benoît, (Konviksyon) and Moïse Jean-Charles (Pitit Dessalines) were injured to varying degrees. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15822-haiti-news-electoral-zapping.html

Continuation of the mobilization of G8

The aftermath of the manifestation of November 18, G8 members have unanimously called for the continuation of the mobilization of the streets until further notice. Also they condemn with the utmost severity the violence exercised by units of the PNH, while they were at the CEP in Petion-ville. Me. Samuel Madistin of MOPOD indicated "This is a dangerous drift exposing the PNH to the disrepute of the population in favor of undeclared interests. We demand that the police put an end to the acts of repression."
