Haiti - Politic : Vinicio Castillo request the suspension of diplomatic relations with Haiti

"While the Chancellor Navarro bet on the good faith of the Foreign Minister of Haiti for he says the truth to the OAS, the Haitian Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated on the contrary of false information," pointing out that Chancellor Haitian affirmed : that tens of thousands of stateless persons would be deported to Haiti, he talked about mass deportation, denationalization, mistreatment of Haitians, humanitarian catastrophe, of no respect of human rights, division of families "proving that he leads an international smear campaign against the Dominican Republic," said Deputy Castillo Semán.
"The Dominican population must mobilize against the OAS intervention in cases such as immigration and the nationality of persons, which are of internal nature and exclusive to a State. Approve the arrival of an OAS mission in our country, to interfere in the exercise of this sovereign right, is a betrayal of the worst kind !"
The Deputy recalls that it will soon be four weeks since the expiry of the National Plan of Foreign Regularization, without the Dominican State exercises its sovereignty. The Dominican Government spends its time to justify and continually deny allegations from Haiti, instead of enforcing the law and begin the repatriation of illegal aliens as announced.
