Haiti - Elections : A delegation of CEP in Ecuador
This Saturday, November 22, in the context of the cooperation between the National Electoral Council (CNE) of Ecuador and the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) of Haiti, a delegation from the CEP, led by the Vice President Chantal Raymond, will left Haiti in the direction of Quito, to attend a workshop to exchange experiences from 24 to 28 November 2014.
The delegation is composed of Advisers Margarette Girault Saint-Louis, Applys Félix, Yolette Mengual, Léopold Berlanger, of Executive Director, Mosler Georges, of Director of the Electoral Registration, Philippe Augustin and that of Electoral Operations, Honorat Lemaire.
This program is the result of the cooperation framework agreement signed by the Presidents of both electoral institutions at the end of the working sessions between the delegation of the CNE and of CEP which took place from 8 to 10 October.
The working agenda developed under this program deals with various aspects of the electoral process. It will allow inter alia to the Haitian delegation to deepen the system and the Ecuadorian electoral cycle, to address issues related to the comprehensive security of electoral processes and the security mechanism in election documents, in order to benefit of exchanges at the maximum.
On a practical level, simulations on the change of address, the operation of electoral disputes, electoral operations and logistics, will be performed for the participants.
