Guillaume, Minister of Health, Ms Nirva Bruno, Mayor of Croix des Bouquets, Representatives of International Organizations involved in the field of health in Haiti, members of the Government and representatives of the countries of the Tripartite cooperation Brazil / Cuba / Haiti, proceeded Thursday, May 15, at the Inauguration of the new Ary Bordes Hospital, in Beudet (locality of the municipality of Croix des Bouquets).

This reference hospital, brand new meet international norms and standards, which will serve the populations of Beudet, Santo, Kafou Marasa, Blancha, Beloton, Bwablan, Lilavois, Bwadòm and surrounding areas has a modern technical platform, an advanced information system, 42 beds, 4 consultation rooms for basic services, a vaccination room, a Community medicine room, emergency department, operating room for major and minor interventions among others.

In his remarks, the Head of State transmitted the thanks and gratitude of the Haitian people to Cuban and Brazilian governments for their financial support to the Haitian Government "I would point out that the Hospital Ary Bordes of Beudet, is the result of an intelligent tripartite cooperation between Brazil, Cuba and Haiti. This health facility shows how Haiti intends to take advantage of the the acting friendships that are available to us for the good of the population."

In his speech, the Minister of Health took the opportunity to salute the courage and determination of the First Lady of the Republic, who is engaged in the struggle to improve the quality of health care in the country.

For their part, the Brazilian and Cuban Ambassadors accredited to Haiti, reiterated the commitment of their governments to continue to strengthen the Haitian health system.
