Haiti - Elections : Strengthening of the accessibility of polling stations for persons with disabilities

Gerald Oriol, Jr., Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities in Haiti met with Emmanuel Ménard, President of the Transitional College of the Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP) around the question of strengthening of the accessibility of polling stations for persons with reduced mobility.

In the perspective of equal access to the electoral process, Gérald Oriol, Jr. announced that the citizens suffering of visual impairments, may be accompanied by a trusted person to exercise, like all citizens, their right to vote in the next election.
