Haiti - Reconstruction : LNG terminal of $103MM

As part of the promotion of investments, the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) announced that Haytrac Power & Gas has developed a project of Terminal for storage and supply of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), on the site of Tirobu, located on Route Nationale #1 in front of the Training Center Maurice Bonnefil.

This project, that meets international environmental standards, is estimated at 103 million U.S. dollars.

This project will take place in two stages :

1. The construction of a storage terminal of 15,000 m3 fopr the importation of liquefied natural gas at the level of Cité Soleil and Morne à Cabrit, capacity that will be doubled later.

2. Construction of a pipeline to supply the industrial area of ​​Port au Prince, in order to supply the plants and make them more productive in respect of the environment.

This project is part of the modernization plan of the Government Martelly-Lamothe to make effective the implementation of the country's energy system.
