Haiti - Justice : The CSPJ reminded the judicial authorities of Petit-Goâve, their responsibilities

Wednesday, a delegation led by Me Norgais, Vice-President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), composed of Me Dilia Lemaire, Me Pharaon and Me Alix Civil, met in the courtroom of the Court of First Instance of Petit-Goâve, all holders judges of the Peace Court, the Commissioners and the Dean Me Emmanuel Tataille, to remind them of their administrative duties and responsibilities in accordance with the law.

That is why we, the us of CSPJ, we decided to meet with the Presidents of the Court of Cassation, judges and the Deans responsible of courts of first instance in the country and the holders judges of Courts of Peace so that we agree on what should be the administration of the courts and how it should be done. In addition, judges are obliged to submit reports on the legal rate," declared Me Dilia Lemaire, that encourages justiciable victims of abuse and wrongdoing from judges to file a complaint with CSPJ...
