Haiti - Social : The boat «Patience», sank into the Gulf of Gonâve
"Patience", a boat, providing the connection between Anse-à-Galets and Carriès, sank Saturday morning in the Gulf of Gonâve, five minutes after leaving the island (West). The boat, which has stopped due to engine failure, was overturned by large waves.
The boat of 7 meters long, equipped with two engines of 200 horsepower, was carrying 21 people (19 passengers and two crew members), according to the list of Service Maritime and Navigation of Haiti (SEMANAH), responsible for the registration of passenger boarding.
