At the invitation of the Brazilian Ministry of Education, Professor Dieuseul Prédélus, Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH), signed Strategic Cooperation Agreements on June 30, 2026, on behalf of the UEH, with several Brazilian universities, including the Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA), the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), and the Federal University of South and Southeast Pará (UNIFESSPA), with the aim of structuring their academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation.

Established for a period of five years, these agreements will allow the UEH and these Brazilian universities to develop areas of collaboration, such as student, faculty, and staff mobility; the implementation of joint teaching and research programs; the organization of joint academic activities; the sharing of documentary resources; and the use of laboratories and infrastructure, among other things.

It should be noted that these new partnerships are part of the State University of Haiti's ongoing internationalization strategy, aimed at strengthening its global reach in order to boost its training, research, and innovation capacities.

Other cooperation agreements will soon be signed with other Brazilian universities.
