Haiti : Creation of the Commission for Planning and Organization of State Examinations

Vijonet DEMERO, the Minister of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) informs in a circular (No. C-11828) of the creation of a Ministerial Commission responsible for the planning and organization of state examinations.

Mandate of the Commission:

• Ensure that all candidates are registered in the ministry register (SIGE);

• Identify the needs necessary for taking exams;

• Develop the related budget;

• Ensure that the contracts relating to the carrying out of examinations are effective;

• Ensure the smooth running of the state exam-taking process;

• Put in place a system guaranteeing the safety of the process;

• Facilitate communication between the different entities involved in the State Examination process;

• Ensure the safe delivery of proofs and copies

• Rationally ensure all logistics related to the administration of exams;

• Organize weekly follow-up meetings with directors

• Support and monitor the process of taking state exams before, during and after.

8 - Miguel FLEURIJEAN, Director of the Department of Secondary Education (DES), ;

9 - Rousseau Dumond LARIONNE, Director of Administrative Affairs;

10 - Renan MICHEL, Inspector General;

11 - Norton LOUISIUS, Coordinator of the Security Unit;

12 - Donnky Nélio EMMANUEL, Coordinator of the Procurement Unit (UPM);

The Commission will be co-chaired by the Director General and the Chief of Staff and will choose, among its members, a secretary in order to guarantee its functioning and ensure the monitoring of meetings and the management of correspondence.

The Commission has 6 months to execute its mandate.
