On October 7, 2025, as part of the 24th edition of "Tuesdays of the Nation" held at the Prime Minister's Office, Jean-Victor Harvel Jean-Baptiste, Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented the Ministry's main projects, organized around five strategic areas.

In pursuit of his two major objectives : modernizing the Chancellery's services and supporting the diplomatic policy of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), the Chancellor emphasized :

• Improving the living conditions of Haitians living abroad;

• Promoting a positive and credible image of Haiti on the international stage;

• Safeguarding national sovereignty;

• Defending fundamental and universal values;

• Promoting Haitian products on foreign markets.

As part of the "Diplomacy 2025–2050" project, which aims to revitalize Haiti's foreign policy at the national and international levels, the Ministry has undertaken several concrete initiatives, including the training of 82 new candidates for the Master II program in Diplomacy and International Cooperation at the Jean Price-Mars Diplomatic Academy (ADJPM) in partnership with the National Institute of Administration, Management, and Advanced International Studies (INAGHEI).

Chancellor Jean-Baptiste also announced the upcoming opening of a new Ministry office in Cap-Haitien (North Department), which will notably handle the legalization of official documents, thus bringing diplomatic and consular services closer to citizens.

"At the request of the President of the Presidential Transitional Council, a National Conference of Ambassadors will soon be held to define the broad guidelines for Haitian diplomacy," the Minister stated.
