The International Bureau of French Publishing (BIEF) is organizing two "Fellowships" for French-speaking publishers in November and early December 2024 in Paris for publishers of literature and human sciences (November 25 to 29), on the one hand, youth and comics (November 26 to December 2) on the other hand.

The BIEF invites 10 French-speaking publishers of literature and human and social sciences to a professional stay in Paris, intended to deepen their knowledge of the French and French-speaking book market. The objective is to establish lasting links between book professionals, to exchange information, to share experiences, and to develop and strengthen a professional network.

This program takes place from November 25 to 29, 2024 in Paris and includes :

- Round tables on the French-speaking book markets and the issues of transfer of rights and co-publishing in French

- B to B meetings with French publishers

- Visits to publishing houses, bookstores, media libraries, and a broadcaster.

Conditions of participation :

- Be available during the programming period, respecting the schedule

- Be French-speaking: be able to follow and participate in conferences in French

- Be an editor or manager of a publishing house.

Support :

Accommodation costs (hotel) and travel costs (round trip based on a flat rate) are covered by the BIEF.
