No vehicle can cross Mariani (RN2) without paying

2023: dark year for police officers

South : Grassroots Festival

Grassroots Festival of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), 350 girls, born in 2009-2010 -2011, from the metropolitan region, participated in the first session held at the Sylvio Cator national stadium Wednesday, December 27 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-41295-icihaiti-grassroots-festival-new-sessions-this-winter.html . The course is now set for the South department which will host the 2nd session this Friday, December 29 before the Palmes region where the 3rd session will take place on December 31. Taiwan : 2.66 million for rice production

The Ministry of Agriculture and the Embassy of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Haiti signed this week a certificate of financial contribution aimed at strengthening agriculture in Haiti. This contribution, valued at $2.66 million, is part of the "Haitian-Taiwanese cooperation for strengthening rice production in Haiti” project".

Canada : Haitian Embassy closed

The Embassy of Haiti in Canada informs the Haitian community and the general public that its premises are closed from Friday December 29, 2023 to Friday January 5, 2024. Activities will resume on Monday January 8, 2024.
